Adventures: LA & SD Trip Day 1: Disneyland

On December 18, 2013 Alvin, Halbert, Jenny, and I drove down to LA to help Jenny move in with her boyfriend, Matt. The ride was quite a squishy one. We packed 2 containers filled with Jenny's belongings, 2 cats, and of course each of our duffles. I caught a bad cold the day before, so I had to take my drowsy meds in order to knock out in the car. We finally arrived at Matt's & Jenny's house at about 11pm and settled in.

The next day (December 19, 2013) we woke up at 7am, and headed out to Portos for breakfast then off to Disneyland we went! It was nice to finally be there again even though it was raining. Disneyland is actually quite run in the rain if you are wearing the proper attire. The lines are noticeably shorter and the park is generally less crowded. We rode all the rides we wanted to and even doubled up on some of the rides and watched the fireworks to end our day.

I didn't bring my camera this time, but enjoy these pictures from my phone.

Crafts: Good-bye Connie!

Connie left the Fully Laced team to move onto bigger things. Although I'm sad that I'll be losing my partner at Fully Laced, I'm glad that she has new opportunities. For her going away gift, I took an image we took at graduation and draw around the frame with things that represent the both of us.

Thanks for everything you have done for me! From getting an internship at Fully Laced to being a good friend. Best wishes to you!

Fully Laced decided to have a after XMAS sale, and I had to create a promotional ad for this sale. I wanted the advertisement to have a Winter feel, but at the same time neatly organize the information. This is what I came up with:

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! This year as a gift to some of my friends, I photoshopped their faces onto elf bodies. This idea came from www.elfyourself.com. Every year instead of buying a gift for them, I make something instead. Anyways, enjoy my little photoshop fun!

Design: Walking The Walk Promo

Hi guys! Here is a new fun ad I was able to work on. Fully Laced was releasing "Walking The Walk" pieces on Black Friday and needed promotional material. I decided it would be fun to take some lifestyle shots to create these promos, and give it a creepy feel. This was going to a fun project for me, because I already enjoyed doing my Halloween photoshop project, and this was pretty much going to be the same thing. Here they are:

I hope you guys all had a great Thanksgiving! With Thanksgiving, comes Black Friday. Nowadays, for most malls, Black Friday actually starts on Thursday and last until Sunday. After all that crazy shopping, is Cyber Monday. I was able to work on the Black Friday promotional material for Fully Laced. This included a website banner & an ad to be put on the newsletter and Instagram.
