Design: DUBXCHANGE 2013

I was in charge of making fliers and advertisements for the first ever DubxChange. DubxChange is basically another version of DunkxChange, except the event is hosted at the Oracle Arena. Here are the promotional material I made for the event.

This is the printed flier which needed to be ink conserving, the basketball texture had to be taken out.

Adventures: LA & SD Trip Day 3 & 4: Sea World and Road Home

On December 21, 2013 we woke up, grabbed Portos again and started our 3 hour drive to San Diego. When got to Seaworld and decided on the various shows that we were going to watch and the animals that we wanted to see. Seaworld was not as amazing as I remembered but it was still nice to be out in a place that I am usually not at. After Seaworld, we went to a Taco place named Oscar's recommended by Erika. It was a really small hole in the wall taco shop, but the tacos there were amazing and fresh! Would definitely go there again if I'm in San Diego. After Taco's we headed back towards LA and stopped at Milk to grab some dessert before heading back to Matt & Jenny's place.

December 22, 2013 was our last day in LA before heading back to SF. We grabbed brunch in the afternoon and walked the farmers market. There, we found some short comics for cheap and some tasty snacks. Afterwards, we headed back to the house to check play with the 3D TV and then began to leave. Before we left we picked up food from Portos for people back at home and grabbed some tea from Factory Tea Bar. The trip was fun and I wish Jenny & Matt the best of wishes in their new home!

Adventures: LA & SD Trip Day 2: California Adventure

On Friday, December 20, 2013 Matt brought us over to California Adventures with his cast member pass. (Thanks again, Matt!) First thing we did was wait in line for the Radiator Spring's fastpass. This pass was well worth the wait, certainly beats waiting two hours in the actual line! After that we went on all the other rides before our fast pass time hit. California Screamin' is still one of my favorite rides! After riding the rides and watching the shows we wanted we proceeded to re-ride some rides before our dinner reservation at Ariel's Grotto. After our dinner reservation at Ariel's Grotto we waited in line to watch World of Color: Winter Dreams, hosted by Olaf. Frozen became one of my favorite animated movie after watching it in theaters, so watching it in world of color was amazing. After World of Color we headed back to Matt & Jenny's place to rest of for the next day.

Welcome 2014! The year 2013 went by quick. So much has been accomplished this year. Bring able to graduate within 4 years being one of the biggest. Here's to a new year filled with more memories and opportunities.
